Joe Hills is the only guy ever who i can imagine as some sorta creature or entity but like in a casual way thats still horrifying in the long run, but also like. Spend 4 hours just imagining him trying to mow a lawn but the mower broke and now he's gotta go get it fixed. Like I can picture this man testing smoke detectors in his home. What has he done to me.
I know most ppl watch multiple hermits and thus certain ones not explaining the rift isn’t a problem however if you’re only a Zedaph viewer and you watched his most recent video (hc9.22) then Oh Boy must you be confused
he hasn’t been on the server since before anyone went through the rift, came back and there’s just Empires People There. he does not comment on this. instead he gets pixl to join him in leading half the server around on pigs. in pure Zedaph fashion.
In complete disbelief that it has been a whole year since the Moon crash of season 8, and a whole year later is the end of the Empires crossover now. They really like wrapping things up around Christmas it seems. Have no clue what those villagers are doing though (Bdubs POV)
it's always incredible when you can sort of tell joe has managed to get completely baffled by someone else's energy,
I don't think you understand the comedic value of hiring a guy to be security for your museum only to come back one day and see said guy just standing there with the entire road outside of the building destroyed and caution tape in random parts of the building. Also he tells you there's hundreds of catalysts on your property.
I had a very dumb thought
ID: a meme made of four images. In the top left is Pearl in her cleaning lady skin with the text "Bye, I'm gonna explore this new dimension!". Next to her is a picture of The Rift with the text "Not dressed like that you aren't!". In the bottom left is a picture of Pearl in her Empires season one skin with the text "Huh? How did I get this outfit?". Next to her is the same picture of The Rift with text "Yass queen slay!" above it. /end ID
explain this
everyone’s talking about the hysterical implications of the possible charity event crossover and i agree. it’s fucking hilarious. but what i want is for the empires guys to roll up to hermitcraft and there’s all of the confusion and jokes about gem/false/pearl being the overlap between the smp’s, they do the whole bit of it, and then. every single hermit is just like. “oh hey pixlriffs.” no confusion, no reaction, just casual recognition. and all the empires guys are expecting the same amount of ???? in response from pix, but he just goes “oh hey guys! :)” and never elaborates on anything. so fucking funny.
WHAT THE FUCK JIMMY
i wanna preface this with the fact jimmy said “this image will make your day” and “you guy’ll love this” and “what i just saved it?” and “good time with scar everybody. scar’s been hittIN THE GYM!”
He had also literally just finished ranting about how he's a pg streamer, it's just that his friends sometimes aren't and then immediately dropped the scitties.

I keep seeing folks complaining about Mojang choosing not to add very many mobs or new features in updates, saying “Well why do we have to choose one mob? Why can’t we get all three?” and…I mean I do understand the want for as many new shiny things as possible.
But the one argument I haven’t been seeing against it is the biggest reason I’m glad they don’t add a million things at once.
Minecraft is a game that is going to grow and update more and more as time goes on. It hasn’t stopped for a decade straight and with the interest people still have for it, it’s gonna keep being updated for a long time. So what would happen if they added a ton in every single update?
Has anyone ever played with the Mo’ Creatures mod, or any of the mods that do the same thing but for plants? The world suddenly fills with another 60 animals and just as many plants. It’s cool! It’s insanely cool! But…it’s also incredibly overwhelming. It’s too much. It’s so many things going on at once, and for someone who has never played Minecraft before, it would be way too much to handle on day one.
So coming back to vanilla Minecraft - I like that they only add a few things at once per update. I like that they limit how many new mechanics we have to learn, or how many new mobs we meet, or how many new blocks we have to juggle in our inventory. (And I’m also hoping for an inventory update to keep up with those blocks, but that’s beside the point.) I like it, because if we added a ton of new things in every update, in a game that isn’t going to stop expanding, it would become too much too quickly - and I don’t want Minecraft to end up feeling like they tried to be too many things at once. I want it to feel thought out. I like that they put so much weight on making sure new blocks and creatures fit into the world they’ve created in a way that feels natural and makes sense. I like that they don’t just dump a bunch of new rushed content in our laps because we demanded it, say “hope that’s good, have fun!” and leave it at that.
When Minecraft expands, it’s always meticulous and well-thought-out, and I like it that way.
But what I WOULD like to see is an update or a mob vote where they choose to give us a chance to bring back a mob that didn’t win. I’d like the chance to see some of the old, abandoned mob ideas see the light of day again. That is something I’d root for any day of the week.
Minecraft started off so desolate and abandoned, like you were the last living being in the world, but the newest update announcement just made me realize it's not abandoned anymore. They've added new default skins, there's so much life added with each update. And it's so beautiful because it's life restarting. It started with small things, like tall grass and different types of trees, but now we're reviving ancient creatures? Finding new people? Seeing life start anew, repopulating the world, and it's so fucking beautiful
i hate seeing people criticising mojang for only showing a few 1.20 features when they explained exactly why they're doing that. it's so frustrating that people do not listen. and it's worse when it's the same people that moaned about 1.19 features that were cut
minecraft has routinely, especially in recent years, been one of the most toxic, ungrateful fanbases i’ve ever seen, especially towards it’s developers who have shown time and time again that they constantly listen to and take feedback from the community. What people ask for is impossible and they choose to attack and harass the game developers. We used to be one of the best fandoms about this! Remember when they split caves & cliffs into two parts with nothing but understanding? Where’s THAT minecraft community? Now we’re fending off toxic dudebros with a stick who are wondering where their goddamn fireflies went and calling mojang lazy.
they were so sick for doing this
This is the funniest shit I’ve ever seen. Good sir wtf

Sometimes people act snooty about "Grian mains" who only watch his videos but those people are ignoring the Grian Effect.
The Grian Effect is when you say "I'm a Grian fan, so I'm just going to watch his POV of Hermitcraft/Double Life/Last Life/3rd Life/MCC/Evo etc..."
And then something happens that makes you go, "Oh, I want to see that prank or event from the other person's perspective" (particularly in the days before prox chat, if you wanted to hear how the other person reacted) or "That person was really fun to team with, I wonder if their vids/streams are any good?"
Then you go "Oh, huh, I like this person's style. I guess I'll watch the rest of their vid..."
And before you know, it you're following 82 hermits and 156 streamers and it's all Grian's fault.
That's the Grian Effect.
Here are the results! Thank you to everybody who contributed to the original survey ^_^
